I originally tried using AI to cut out the flags and pills, but that didn't work, because the spots they were in always looked noticeably warped, so I decided to photoshop them out myself using GIMP.
Steps to install:
1. Acquire Celeste on Steam (or GOG if they even bother).
2. Download the Everest Mod loader.
3. Connect it to your downloaded game.
4. Put the mod into the mod manager.
5. Save and play the game.
Here's a bit of trivia for you; The main character of this game, who goes by the name Madeleine if you don't rename her, is a self-insert of one of the Canadian devs who goes by the name Maddy. Madeleine has been widely acknowledged as a perfectly normal young girl, no older than 12-16 from what I could tell. However, when you get to the end of the game's final grueling gauntlet titled "farewell", you will notice the presence of a picture of a very boyish looking young Madeleine, a su***ious bottle of pills, and two pride flags under her monitor, one gay, and one trans. This pretty much implies that Madeleine was once a boy who decided to pretend to be a woman. For those of you who haven't figured it out by now, Maddy is actually a man whose real name is matt, and while Madeleine was a normal girl originally, when the two dlc levels came out a year and a half later, the team decided to hint at her transition as a means of stroking Matt's circumcised ego even further. This mod acts as a means of getting rid of that grossness and ensuring the Madeleine is the normal girl that we all know she is. I am not good at drawing in the game's artstyle, so I am hoping that someone else who knows how can redraw young madeleine in the picture frame to look more like a girl, presumably by making her hair longer and her face more feminine. I hope you enjoy this mod and the game, now that it has been fixed just a little bit.
