This mod overhauls attack speed through parameter tweaks and reductions in melee attack animation duration.
Parameter Overhaul
- Max attack speed bonus for Henry and NPCs is 25%.
- Max attack speed difference between any opponent is 25%.
- Max attack speed difference is scaled from Henry, when Henry is the opponent.
- Max Agility attack speed bonus is 15% at level 30.
- Max Weapon Skill attack speed bonus is 10% at level 30.
- Timewarp (slow-motion) for melee attacks are disabled.
Animation Overhaul
- All melee combat animations duration are reduced by 10%.
"Feint" Speed
- Added hidden buff to reduce attack reset time, and improve response timing.
Draw Speed
- Bows now have a range of 1.0-1.5 (seconds) draw time. Both light and heavy bows affected.
- Bows no longer affected by Perks which reduce reload time (Crossbows unaffected).
Notes
- All melee animations are only reduced by 10%. This is to reduce animation breakage on animations with lower duration, by default. For instance, animations range anywhere between 0.1-6.0 seconds. However, most are between 0.16-3.0 seconds. In addition, many long animations have different stages, of which, some stages can be very brief, which means they could break or get janky - even with my method of reduction.
- Bow animations will break if the reload (draw) speed is set too high. I basically set it to the limit by default; therefore, reload (draw) perks are superfluous. Henry will still be required to have higher stats to reach upper draw limits.
- Attack Speed scales with weapon skill level and agility. At low level, speed will seem slower, especially vs higher level enemies. As Henry increases in stats, he will get much faster in attack speed - and you'll notice higher level enemies attack much faster.
Installation: Unzip and place mod folder in C:\ ... \KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods.
